We're Bex and Paul, a husband and wife team with over 20 years of coaching experience between us. We run a private PT studio in Crowborough, East Sussex, where we offer 1-to-1 and semi-private personal training.
We focus on what works, not what's trending. No fads, no shortcuts, no telling you what you want to hear.
Everything is personal.
Both our 1-to-1 and semi-private sessions are built entirely around the individual. No group templates, no circuit classes, no one-size-fits-all programmes.
Someone training to improve their running performance shouldn't be doing the same sessions as someone building muscle and losing fat. So they don't. Every client gets their own programme, their own nutrition plan and their own coaching.

We start with training but if you're here to change the way your body looks, training is just the stimulus.
What actually drives the change is the internal environment - the habits, sleep, stress and nutrition that determine whether your body can respond to that stimulus at all. Get those right and the external results follow. That's what we work on together, in the right order, at the right time.

Paul Davies
COACH
Coaching has been part of my life from a young age. I started running football camps at 14 and by 17 was coaching professionally in the US. At 19 I returned to the UK to join a Premier League academy, working with players who went on to represent clubs including Chelsea, AC Milan and Brighton.
In my late twenties I stepped away to explore other paths and quickly realised nothing else felt as meaningful. That brought me back, this time to personal training, where I've spent the last decade.
I'm passionate about helping clients find solutions, build confidence and become the strongest version of themselves, physically and mentally.

Bex Hawkins
COACH
I started training at Crowborough PT a few years ago and with Paul's coaching, completely transformed my physique. A former self proclaimed ‘cardio bunny’ I was always chasing a ‘toned’ look - I believed the key was just moving more and eating “healthy-ish.” It worked for a while in my early twenties (thank you youthful skin) but as I moved into my thirties, I realised I wasn’t making progress. On top of that, I felt overwhelmed by all the conflicting wellness advice online.
Experiencing the change firsthand and understanding what drove it, made me realise how much a really good coach matters. That led me to leave a career in design and retrain as a coach. Now I help others go through the same thing. There's nothing better than seeing someone exceed their own expectations and feel genuinely comfortable and confident in their body.

Juno Hawkins-Davies
ASSISTANT
While she rarely sets paw on the gym floor, Juno’s no stranger to heavy lifting or protein-packed meals. Most days you’ll find her leading outdoor adventures on Ashdown Forest, carrying sticks twice her size and making sure Paul and Bex get their daily steps in.
